Eating Place 1849 (Waikiki)

The original plan was for the Beachhouse at Moana Surfrider but the $100 prix fixe menu and so-so reviews scared us off a bit. And my family raved about Eating House 1849. We were fortunate to get next day reservations for 8pm so we grabbed it.

We hadn’t been to the Intl Marketplace since they remodeled. At night the 3rd floor is stunning.

They tried to put us in the back then said the patio tables were only for party for 4 (although all the 4 tops had couples at them). We prevailed and scored a table near the bar.

The food was wonderful. I think I’ve had the red curry fish before. Mr A loved his swordfish with lemon and Capers.

We love all Roy’s restaurants. So glad we chose Duke’s and Roy’s for our 2 fancy dinners.
