Air travel 2021

“It’s so good to be back in our state”, said the lady in the bathroom stall next to mine. “Uh huh!” said her companion, agreeably.

Covid doesn’t exist in airports. There’s no pandemic in the terminal. No 6ft separation in the security lineup. No distancing when Group 6 boards the plane. Every seat filled. Half the restaurants in the airport are closed leaving McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. The car rental guy took his mask off to talk to me then put it back on after I left.

Anyone who’s anxious about getting Covid should definitely not travel yet.
