Denver Central Market (Denver, CO)
Just a quick few details, it was the end of a long day and we were hungry and tired. Nice assortment of eateries; a few gourmet sandwich shops, a chicken roaster, fish place, ice cream, chocolate shop, Bakery.
Ms S loved her chicken tacos from the chicken place. 4.5 stars to High Point Creamery ice cream whose fudge sauce was too thick and too dark for her (sounds perfect to me). Mr A liked his Italian beef sandwich. I ordered the blackened fish sandwich from the fish place. It took like 20+ minutes. And the piece of fish was long and tall and did not fit in the bun at all. Difficult to eat. The fish itself was very good, very fresh and the sauces were good. But it made me unhappy.
The Izzio Bakery, on the other hand, is worth seeking out if you are a pastry fiend. Ooh wee. I tried the sugar bun and the chocolate queen (kouign amann). Crispy, sugary, tender…
